a) Spin dribble
As the trap is forming, 1 attacks one defender, executing a spin move dribble to seal the defender, then dribbling the ball in front so it can't be knocked away from behind.

b) Step through
1 fakes a pass over the top of the trap, causing the defenders to rise up, takes one long, hard step to split the trap, and takes the first dribble.

c) Wrap-around pass
1 makes a wrap-around pass to 4, or an overhead pass to 5, depending on the angle of the trap.
